There are a few different types of solid perfume, each with their own benefits:

Most people thought the fragrances would be more delicate and wouldn't last but many of us ground we were still able to smell the scents by the end of the day. The worry for many of our testers was that the colour of the wax may stay on our clothes, but this didn't appear to be the case. The pencils were easy to use and were easy to pop into a handbag. Most thought it would be a great idea for those travelling or not wanting to carry heavy and often very decorative bottles of perfume with them. On the whole, Team Carvansons liked the idea and we may even have converted a few sceptics along the way.

There are plenty of websites that provide guides to creating a solid perfume. Most solid perfumes are created using beeswax, almond oil and fragrance oil. We have plenty of fragrance oils that work well with solid colognes and perfumes.

Here are a few tips for getting the most out of your solid perfume:
